Learn more about the Ducks

When Emmett and I were wrapping up the Chickens collaboration, he dropped a very fun idea on me. Duck PFPs that that live in a duck pond and get a token called QUAX, which buys Duck Gems for the chance at hatching new ducks. About a month or 2 later the tools became available, and we began our journey.

About the Ducks:
Generative PFP collection with hand drawn layers created with the Chain Champs PFP maker
- 7 Duck bodies
- 20 backgrounds
- 10 eye variations
- 6 neck variations
- 25 head variations
- 10 stickers (each only used once)

Duck distribution:
- 500 total
- 1 pack airdropped to all 2023 annual pass card holders (completed)
- 224 pack initial sale (completed)
- 250 to be “hatched” (50%+ completed)

The Duck Pond:
- Stake your ducks to the Duck Pond to earn QUAX
- Staked ducks gives voting power in the QUAX DAO
- 200,000 QUAX to be distributed through the pond in 2023

Duck Gems:
- Purchase Duck Gems with QUAX
- Blend your Duck Gem for a chance at a Duck Pack in The Ducker
              o 75% Success rate
- Fails result in a broken egg NFT (which stake in the main KingsburyNFT Farm)

QUAX DAO:
- An experimental dao based upon ownership of the Duck PFPs
- Each staked duck gives voting power within the dao
- 25% of the WAX from the initial pack sales goes to fund the community dao wallet (75% funded)
- 50% of the QUAX from Duck Gem sales goes to fund the the community dao wallet (75% funded)

Other:
- 25% of the WAX from the initial drop went towards QUAX/WAX liquidity (completed)
- 25% of the QUAX from Duck Gem sales will go towards QUAX/WAX liquidity (75% funded)
